Emergency starter solenoids for fire pump diesel engines start the diesel engine powering the fire pump that supplies water to the fire protection systems in a fire situation when the electronic start fails, as required in Factory Mutual (FM) compliant installations.

Emergency starter solenoids are available in 12 and 24 VDC models, rated for 400 amps rolling current and 800 amps breakaway current,

These high power rated starter solenoids are available with or without an emergency start lever with either 12 or 24V DC coils.

Maximum coil current : 12v units= 6A max, 24v units =10A

max Contact voltage : 30v DC (All models)

Contact rolling current : 1000A DC
